BIOGRAPHY
Nikki Bella is one-half of the professional wrestling tag team known as The Bella Twins. She and her sister, Brie, are working for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), and wrestle on its SmackDown brand. In addition to that, they train with its developmental facility, Florida Championship Wrestling. The twins were born on November 21, 1983 in San Diego, California, as Brianna and Nicole Garcia. Of Mexican and Italian descent, their family raised them in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Before taking an interest in wrestling, Nikki Bella and her sister played soccer until college. Afterwards, they decided to take on modeling, acting and doing other promotional work. The Bella Twins have made appearances across the country, making themselves known in various trade shows and several international magazines. On television, they’ve been seen on the Fox reality show Meet My Folks. It was there that they were discovered, and later hired to be the World Cup Twins for Budweiser. They were also photographed holding the World Cup trophy. In 2006, they participated in the “International Body Doubles Twins Search,” and soon set their minds on wrestling.
In 2007, the Bella Twins were signed to developmental contracts with the WWE and were assigned to Florida Championship Wrestling. They debuted in FCW in September, competing in a series of tag team matches against Nattie Neidhart and Vitoria Crawford. Part of their on-screen persona was switching places behind the referees back when one twin was hurt. Later that year, they began managing Derrick Linkin but he was released in 2008.
In August, Nicole Garcia was introduced as Nikki, because the twins’ switching gimmick was exposed. She and her sister had their first official tag team match on November 21, 2008 in SmackDown, defeating Victoria and Natalya. They later developed on-screen relationships with Carlito and Primo Colon but this was challenged by John Morrison and The Miz in 2009. They won a match to date the Bella Twins, but Primo and Carlito tried to sabotage it.

The Bella TwinsIn the late spring of 2007, trying modelsBrianna Garcia and Nicole Garcia were marked to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) formative contracts and started preparing in Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). The wrestled as a label group routinely for the last quarter of 2007. On September 15, 2007, The Bella Twins got a major win in FCW vanquishing Krissy Vaine & Nattie Neidhart. In FCW they wrestled against any semblance of Victoria Crawford, Lacey Von Erich, Katie Lea Burchill, Tiffany (Taryn Terrell), Milena Roucka, and Maryse too. On June 3, 2008 Angela Fong & The Bella Twins co-won a FCW Diva Bikini Contest. Different members included Daisy, Roucka, Victoria Crawford & Taryn Terrell.
On the August 29 version of SmackDown!, "Brie Bella" made her WWE introduction crushing Victoria. It was really Nicole who made the pin on Victoria after a debilitated Brie slithered under the ring and exchanged spots with her sister. The next week on the September 5, 2008 release of SmackDown, "Brie Bella" vanquished Victoria once more in the wake of creeping under the ring again and exchanging spots with her sister Nicole. The same situation followed in the following couple of weeks in Brie's matches. On October 26, 2008 at Cyber Sunday, Brie Bella took part in a WWE Divas Halloween Costume Contest as Cleopatra and on November 3, 2008 on RAW she was one of the rivals in a 16-DIVA Tag Team Match.
